Overview

As an effort to help our country rebuild after the devastation caused by Hurricane Maria, we have created this platform to gather funds internationally. We are counting on the cooperation of the people worldwide to help us get through these tough times. Hurricane Maria ripped through Puerto Rico on Wednesday, September 20th, making landfall as a powerful Category 4 storm with 155-mph winds, according to the National Hurricane Center, making it the most devastating hurricane that has crossed Puerto Rico in modern history. It left 100% of the island without power. In many places, there’s still no water to drink or bathe in or to flush toilets. Many people have died, and even more are missing. There are limited food and cell service, and dozens of remote villages have been completely cut off from everything for weeks. Our island is in desperate need of help.
